Series consists of the June 18, 1888 Report of the Secretary of the Joint Committee on Colonization of the City Council and Board of Trade; June 16, 1888 Report of Mr. McNee, Agent; June 15, 1888 Report of Mr. Woods, Agent; June 14, 1888 Report of Mr. Smith, Agent at Station. The reports provide details regarding the agent's work, places visited, and the volume of materials distributed.

Forms part of Fonds 24. Series A includes records created or collected by members or committees of the Host Society responsible for organizing the 2002 NAIG in the years 1994-2002. As the highest level of management, The Host Society was the core of the 2002 NAIG. High level decisions were made at the Host Society level; Host Society meetings were attended by Government representatives, Chairs of other NAIG Divisions, and representatives of related Aboriginal or Metis organizations or groups; and updates from all other NAIG divisions were received and considered by the Host Society. Records include General Manager’s Files, Executive Assistant Files, and the Minutes of the Host Society Organizing Council, Budget & Finance Committee, Executive Committee, Chef de Mission meetings, NAIG Council, Board of Directors, Risk Management Committee, and other Staff Meetings.

Forms part of Fonds 10. Series consists of various reference materials, memorabilia and ephemera collected and preserved by the Rural Municipality and City of St. Vital. Many of the records seem to have been kept for their historical value, including files on the 1950 flood and select issues of the St. Vital Lance. Miscellaneous record books appear in this series as well.

Forms part of Fonds 7. Series consists of all surviving administrative correspondence directed toward the Town of Tuxedo. The correspondence is organized by month and year, and dates from January 1962 until December, 1971, the Town’s final year as a unique entity.

The files include documents arising from the business of the Town of Tuxedo, including Council agendas, various accounts, balance sheets and minutes. Correspondence covers a wide variety of topics including matters relating to: centennial year projects; constituent correspondence; Heuback Park; mailings: “To the Residents of Tuxedo”; Metropolitan Corporation of Greater Winnipeg issues specific to Tuxedo; recreation complex; street name changes; Tuxedo Land Associates; Tuxedo Police Working Agreement. Some files include architectural drawings, blueprints and maps.

General Correspondence

Forms part of Fonds 7. Series consists of all surviving correspondence directed toward the Town of Tuxedo. The correspondence dates from the first year of the Town of Tuxedo’s incorporation, 1913, until 1974, slightly beyond its final year as a unique entity, 1971. The correspondence covers a wide variety of topics relating to the establishment of the town, health, schools, snow removal and taxation, with the greatest attention given to land development and all related issues. The records are arranged alphabetically by subject.

Included at the end of this series is early correspondence, 1914 to 1947, relating to public works and includes seven agreements.

General Correspondence

Forms part of Fonds 10. Series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence created and maintained by the Rural Municipality and the City of St. Vital. It documents internal communication of an administrative nature as well as communication with residents, businesses, local clubs and associations, and other governments. Much of the correspondence generated from complaints and requests, either for information or for a specific action. Correspondence between St. Vital and other governments includes letters of congratulations and notices of various decisions or legislative changes. Subjects covered in correspondence are wide ranging and include tax and assessment, property matters, municipal services, licenses, capital works, development, and events.

Series is chronological and arranged by archivist according to month and year. Correspondence files with the City Solicitor and Greater Metropolitan Corporation of Winnipeg, which also appear in this series, filed separately. Loose records (ie: copies of agendas, minutes, reports, etc.) of council meetings, committees and boards placed into files at back.

Personal and/or sensitive materials removed and placed into restricted file.

St. Vital (Man.)

Fundraising Division

Forms part of Fonds 24. Series F consists of records that were created in the years 2001-2002 to serve the Division’s purpose of raising money from sponsors to meet the Games budget requirements. Records included within the Series are mainly Sponsorship Agreements and Fundraising Committee meetings and plans.

Financial Statements

Forms part of Fonds 7. Series consists of all surviving financial statements reflecting the financial operations of the Town of Tuxedo. The auditors’ reports and statements of accounts date from 1914 until the town’s final year as a unique entity, 1971.

Included are Annual Financial Statements and Reports sent to ratepayers with their annual tax bill.

Forms part of Fonds 3. Series consists of all surviving financial reports of the Rural Municipality of Charleswood (Missing year end reports for 1957 and 1958) and financial ledgers. Although the titles and forms vary, each report summarizes the Municipality's financial operations on an annual basis as per the audit function. Interim reports and financial statements appear in few instances. Ledgers document general accounts and local improvements. One volume relates to financial estimates for the years 1963 to 1968.

Series is arranged in two groupings, financial reports and ledgers. When necessary, records were removed from bound volumes and placed in folders. Oversized items housed in separate containers. Items belonging to the City of Winnipeg removed.

Forms part of Fonds 10. Series consists of all surviving financial reports, financial ledgers, and other accounting records for the Rural Municipality and City of St. Vital. Each financial report summarizes the municipality’s financial operations on an annual basis as per the audit function. In addition to general ledgers, this series also contains ledgers documenting debentures, housing loan accounts, and tax sales. One volume records financial estimates from 1963 to 1968. Other records include sample debentures and two financial reports for the St. Vital Public Library (1967, 1970).

Series is arranged in two main groupings, financial reports and ledgers. When necessary, records were removed from bound volumes and placed in folders. Oversized items housed in separate containers.

Forms part of Fonds 7: Series consists of all surviving financial ledgers reflecting the financial operations and accounting procedures of the Town of Tuxedo. It includes general ledgers, 1911-1969, synoptic ledgers, 1913-1923, tax sale lands and record book, 1939-1949, and record of estimate books, 1939-1968.

When necessary, records were removed from bound volumes and placed in folders. Oversized items housed in separate containers.

Forms part of Fonds 10. Series consists of election project files and other documents and materials related to municipal elections in the Rural Municipality and City of St. Vital. It includes correspondence, poll results, declarations and oaths, nomination papers, permits, voters lists, etc. Majority of voters lists missing.

Series is arranged chronologically with later additions placed at end.

Forms part of Fonds 12. Series consists of voters lists for the Municipalite de St-Boniface, the Town of St. Boniface and the Ville de St-Boniface and/or City of St. Boniface. Voters’ lists contain the names of all persons in the assessment rolls for the municipality, town and city. Voters’ Lists begin in 1893 and end in 1969. Missing are lists for the following years: 1907-1910, 1917, 1921-1924, 1927, 1929, 1932-1935, 1970-1971. Voters’ Lists are arranged chronologically.

Forms part of Fonds 7. Series consists of Voters Lists for the Town of Tuxedo. Voters lists contain the names of all persons in the assessment rolls for the town. Voters Lists for the following years are missing: 1924-1929, 1933, 1935, 1970 and 1971.
