Note générale
A note written by Corporal Wallace accompanying this scrapbook says of this page: “Butler was with the PPCLI [Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry] band before war. I think this house was in either River Heights or the Beaverbrook area. Young Jim joined army and survived a sinking in the Atlantic, Gig Butler worked for Manitoba Telephone and I think her boyfriend in the mid 1930s was that great athlete Eric Coy of Winnipeg. Drinkwaters were in Neepawa.”
