Clark’s Department Store at Highway 59 panorama

View of Clarks at Highway 59, southwest corner of Panet Road and Nairn Avenue, 8.5 acres. From left to right: B/A gas bar, Loblaws, Clarks Discount Store and Auto Centre, B/A gas bar, Kavanaugh's Hamburgers. Consists of 3 separate photographs pasted together on cardboard to create a panorama. The cardboard is a scrap made from an old sign of the Metropolitan Corporation of Greater Winnipeg (visible on the reverse). The cardboard is numbered “4”, presumably as part of a compilation with other shopping centre panoramas.

Donation 9: Ukrainian immigrant bicycle story

Consists of digitized documents related to the immigration of Emma Obendoerfer to Canada from the Soviet Union following World War 2, as well as the bicycle she brought with her. Includes digitized images of immigration documents and photos, and a Microsoft Word document written by the donor that tells her story. Donation courtesy of Peter Obendoerfer.

Consists of various material related to the organizations Critical Mass and Bike to the Future. The Bike to the Future material consists primarily of emails, meeting minutes, reports, and photographs from 2006-2007. Critical Mass material consists primarily of email, articles, photographs, and material related to the police response to Critical Mass bike rides in May, 2006. Donation 16: Winnipeg Ottocycle final report

Consists of the final report report of the Winnipeg 2009 OttoCYCLE report, conducted by the Centre for Sustainable Transportation at the University of Winnipeg for the City of Winnipeg. The report combined GPS and socio-economic data to produce a dataset of cycling activity in Winnipeg that could be use to guide the construction of cycling infrastructure.
