Photograph postcard of Herbert H. Clark, runner and bandsman of the 27th Winnipeg Battalion during the First World War, while in hospital in 1917. This photo was enclosed in a letter Clark sent to the City regarding his wish to donate an embroidery he made of the battalion’s badge. Clark’s service information is written on the reverse.
Series consists of two reports to Council regarding fund raising efforts and distribution of relief funds to the families of volunteers serving with the 90th Winnipeg Battalion of Rifles and the Winnipeg Field Battery during the North-West Rebellion (North-West Resistance) of 1885.
