The collection consists of material relating to Winnipeg and includes vintage photographs of local businesses, buildings and civic government employees, works and operations; stereoscopic views published by the T. Eaton Co. Limited, the Keystone View Company and Underwood & Underwood, Publishers; postcards of Winnipeg published by Henry Kalen Ltd., and Alex Wilson Publications Limited; line drawings and sketches extracted from various publications; maps and plans of the City of Winnipeg; publications including telephone directories for the City of Winnipeg and Report on a Future Water Supply for the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba, 1897; ephemera including letterhead of local businesses, stock certificates, invoices, property tax receipts and statements, philatelic items (souvenir stamps created for civic events); miscellaneous artifacts including a souvenir ashtray, pin, sterling silver spoon, and coins.

Two stereograms produced by the Keystone View Company, which had offices in New York State, Oregon, London, and Sydney. The stereograms are numbered, indicating they are part of a larger series of images and show Winnipeg street scenes, along with information about Winnipeg on their reverse.

For Your Guidance While in Winnipeg promotional map

A promotional map created by the Publicity Bureau of Winnipeg and Manitoba titled "For Your Guidance While in Winnipeg". Map was originally folded as a pamphlet, the front page of which features a graphic of two people driving down Highway 14 (now Highway 75) to Winnipeg. The map is not scale and features cartoon depictions of tourist destinations and landmarks around Winnipeg and St. Boniface. The maps shows major streets, railroads, and street railway lines. The map side was originally framed and cut to fit. At a result a small part of the front page is cut off, including a stamp reading "St. Raphael's Ukrainian Immigrants' Welfare Association of Can[ada]".
